Russell Street Residences
Russell Street Residences is a two-storey, seven-dwelling residential development located in Morley, Western Australia. Situated within the Morley Activity Centre, the proposal introduces a considered medium-density response comprising three ground-floor and four upper-level two-bedroom residences.
The development is organised around a central access and parking court, establishing clear pedestrian circulation, individual private open spaces and landscaped edges incorporating deep-soil planting. The built form is articulated through recessed balconies, carefully positioned openings and a restrained white material palette complemented by dark metal detailing.
Visual privacy, passive surveillance and the relationship with adjoining residential properties have guided the planning and orientation of the dwellings. The result is a compact yet liveable infill development that responds to its residential context while contributing positively to the evolving Russell Street streetscape.
